CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY‍

This policy is for bookings done through FlyFlat ONLY and is subject to change. Changes and cancellations are allowed on most flights booked through FlyFlat. Fees will apply.

Flyflat ticket change and cancellation policy

Please read these policies before using Our Service. 

1. Overview

This policy applies to bookings made exclusively through FlyFlat and is subject to potential changes. Most flights booked via FlyFlat allow for changes and cancellations, with applicable fees.

2. Flight Changes

Any changes processed by FlyFlat will result in fees as outlined on our changes and cancellations page.

It’s important to note that award bookings have different change and cancellation rules compared to non-award bookings.

Please check with your travel concierge before booking to confirm the change and cancellation rules for your particular flight.

Name changes are not permitted on issued tickets, with exceptions for legal name changes (such as marriage).

FlyFlat is not responsible for additional costs that arise due to errors resulting from passenger visas or name changes.

3. Itinerary Change Rules and Fees For Award Flights

In addition, to change fees, some changes may require additional fare collection based on availability.

Discounted flights of this nature may not be refundable within 24 hours of booking – inquire with your representative for clarity on your ticket.

Change fees are non-refundable.
Fee for changes made after 24 hours of booking the flight is $250 USD. Some air carriers may have change fees which are not included in these fees. Cancellation results in future credit (based on availability).

4. Itinerary Change Rules and Fees For Non-Award Flights

All Non-FlyFlat inventory bookings will be assessed a $100 USD service fee. Fees apply to each individual. If multiple people are traveling together, there is a fee per person. This fee is waived for FlyFlat Pro members, who may book non members at a 50% discount to $50 USD.

In addition to change fees, some changes require a change in fare which will increase ticket cost.

Change fees are non-refundable.

Fee for changes made after 24 hours of booking the flight is $250 USD in addition to the airline Change fee/Cancellation/No-Show Rules and Fees.

Cancellation of a flight does not result in a refund, but a credit.

Credits are designated for specific airline and partner use and not available on all flights and routes. Rebooking is subject to additional fare collection based on requested route and date.

Credits are non-transferrable and hold various expiration dates, please inquire directly with your agent.

5. Involuntary Changes

While rare, involuntary changes as a result of flight cancellation, technical or flight delay resulting from events within the airline’s control may occur. In these situations, FlyFlat will directly assist you with filing a case with the airline.

FlyFlat always encourages clients that are downgraded to be reprotected onto available business class tickets when possible, as compensation for involuntary bumps are not timely to be paid.

The cancellation fee is $250 USD.

Some air carriers may have cancellation fees which are not included in these fees.

6. Additional Fees

Additional fees may apply to specific airlines (i.e. JetBlue, Singapore Air). Some airlines will not allow changes within 72 hours of flight.

7. Missed Flights

In the event of a missed flight not due to a delay or cancellation by the airline, FlyFlat holds no responsibility to retain the value of the lost tickets. Rebooking directly with the airline is required and may face additional restrictions and fare increases to maintain current booking criteria.
